Demand Response Analysis Framework
draf (demand response analysis framework) is an open source modular framework that enables the economic and ecological evaluation of industrial demand response.
elmada (Dynamic electricity carbon emission factors and prices for Europe) is a subcomponent of draf which calculates mixed and marginal carbon emissions factors for 20 European countries.
They are developed by Markus Fleschutz in a cooperative PhD between MTU and the University of Applied Sciences Karlsruhe and under the supervision of Dr. Michael D. Murphy and Dr.-ing Marco Braun.
draf applications:
- From prosumer to flexumer: Case study on the value of flexibility in decarbonizing the multi-energy system of a manufacturing company
- Demand Response Analysis Framework (DRAF): An Open-Source Multi-Objective Decision Support Tool for Decarbonizing Local Multi-Energy Systems
elmada applications:
- elmada:Dynamic electricity carbon emission factors and prices for Europe
- The effect of price-based demand response on carbon emissions in European electricity markets: The importance of adequate carbon prices
